Randal Kleiser
Born on July 20, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is an American film director and producer known for his work in both film and television. He gained prominence with the 1978 musical hit "Grease," which became one of the highest-grossing films of the era. He also directed "The Blue Lagoon" (1980) and "Big Top Pee-wee" (1988). A graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, he has continued to work in various genres, including family films and science fiction.
