A British film director, producer, and screenwriter, he is known for his work in fantasy and science fiction genres. He directed films like "Photographing Fairies" (1997) and "Alice in Wonderland" (1999), and TV miniseries such as "Tin Man" (2007) and "Neverland" (2011). He is the son of Portuguese painter Paula Rego and English artist Victor Willing. He studied at the National Film and Television School in the UK, establishing a diverse career in both film and television.
