Warren Oates
An American character actor known for his rugged features and intense performances, he was born in 1928 in Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Marines before pursuing acting, starting on stage and transitioning to television in the 1950s. He gained prominence in the 1960s and 1970s with notable roles in "The Wild Bunch," "Two-Lane Blacktop," and "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia." Collaborating frequently with Sam Peckinpah, he became a cult favorite. He passed away in 1982, leaving a legacy of compelling, gritty characters.
