An American actor and musician, he is best known for his role in the 2007 supernatural horror film "Paranormal Activity." Born in Westport, Connecticut, he graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in philosophy before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting. His breakout role came with the low-budget film that gained a cult following for its innovative use of found footage. Outside of acting, he is a talented guitarist and vocalist, often performing in various music projects.
