Born on June 8, 1955, in New York City, he is an American actor and director known for his work in both film and television. He gained prominence in the 1980s with roles in "An American Werewolf in London" and "After Hours." He is also a co-founder of the production company Double Play Productions. Beyond acting, he has directed several films and episodes of popular TV series. He hails from a family with ties to the entertainment industry, being the nephew of writer Dominick Dunne.
