The Thing is a 1982 science fiction horror film directed by John Carpenter. The story follows a group of researchers in Antarctica who encounter a shape-shifting alien that can perfectly mimic any living being. As paranoia and distrust set in, the group must figure out who among them is human and who is not, before the alien destroys them all.
