The Secret of Roan Inish is a 1994 drama film directed by John Sayles. The story follows a young girl who uncovers the mystery of her family's past on a remote island off the coast of Ireland. As she learns about her ancestors and their connection to the mythical Selkies, she sets out to reunite her family and restore their lost heritage.
