The Man from Snowy River is a 1982 Australian Western drama film based on the Banjo Paterson poem. It tells the story of a young man, Jim Craig, who, after his father's death, ventures out to earn his living. He finds work on a cattle station owned by two brothers, Harrison and Spur.
