The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a science fiction comedy film based on the book series by Douglas Adams. It follows Arthur Dent, an ordinary man who is swept off Earth just before its destruction by a spaceship. Guided by Ford Prefect, an alien researcher for the titular guidebook, Arthur embarks on an intergalactic journey filled with bizarre encounters, including a depressed robot, a two-headed President, and the quest for the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything.
