The Funhouse is a 1981 American horror film directed by Tobe Hooper. A group of teens sneaks into a traveling carnival and, after exploring the haunted funhouse, become prey to a masked killer who stalks them through mirror mazes, dark corridors, and carnival tableaux. With tight suspense, grisly practical effects, and a grim atmosphere, Hooper channels claustrophobic fear as the survivors scramble to escape the deadly maze, a nightmarish carnival.
