The Boxtrolls is a 2014 stop-motion animated film that tells the story of a young orphaned boy named Eggs who is raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors known as the Boxtrolls. Set in the fictional Victorian-style town of Cheesebridge, Eggs ventures above ground to save his friends from the evil exterminator Archibald Snatcher, who is determined to eradicate them. Through his journey, Eggs discovers his true identity and learns about the power of acceptance and family.
