Tangled is a 2010 American 3D computer-animated musical adventure film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It tells the story of a lost princess with long magical hair who yearns to leave her secluded tower. Along the way, she meets a bandit who helps her on her journey. The film is a modern retelling of the classic fairy tale Rapunzel.
