Spawn is a 1997 superhero film based on the comic book character of the same name. The movie follows Al Simmons, a government assassin who is betrayed and killed. He makes a deal with the devil to return to Earth to see his wife, but comes back as a hellspawn. He must navigate a dangerous world while trying to reclaim his humanity.
