Robots is a 2005 animated science fiction comedy film set in a world entirely inhabited by sentient robots. The story follows Rodney Copperbottom, an aspiring inventor who dreams of working for his idol, Bigweld. Upon arriving in Robot City, Rodney discovers that Bigweld has been replaced by the tyrannical Ratchet, who plans to scrap all outdated robots. With the help of his new friends, the Rusties, Rodney sets out to save the robot world from Ratchet's evil plans.
