Return to Oz is a 1985 fantasy film that serves as a dark and surreal sequel to the classic 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz. Directed by Walter Murch, the film follows young Dorothy Gale as she returns to the magical land of Oz, only to discover it is in ruins and under the tyrannical rule of the evil Nome King and Princess Mombi.
