Persuasion is a 1995 British television film adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Persuasion. The story follows Anne Elliot, a young woman who is persuaded to break off her engagement with the man she loves, only to encounter him years later when he is wealthier and more eligible. As they navigate their feelings and the societal pressures around them, they must decide if they can overcome their past mistakes and find happiness together.
