Parasyte -the maxim- is a Japanese animated series adapted from the manga 'Parasyte' by Hitoshi Iwaaki. The story follows a high school student, Shinichi Izumi, who becomes partially infected by a Parasyte, a mysterious alien creature that devours human brains. Shinichi's right hand is taken over by the Parasyte, which he names Migi. Together, they navigate a world where humans and Parasytes are in a constant struggle for survival, raising questions about humanity and coexistence.
