In the futuristic action thriller 'Looper,' time travel exists but is illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to eliminate someone, they send the target 30 years into the past where a hired gun awaits. Joe is one such hitman, and he does his job well until the day his bosses decide to close the loop, sending back Joe's future self for assassination. Now Joe must track down and kill his future self in order to close the loop and save himself.
