In the Ethiopian highlands, a young boy is sent to live with relatives after his mother's death. There, he forms a bond with a lamb, which becomes his constant companion. As he navigates the challenges of his new life, the bond between boy and lamb provides him with solace and strength. However, when his uncle decides to sacrifice the lamb for a religious festival, the boy must find a way to save his beloved friend.
