I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House Poster
Description:
Ruth Wilson stars as Lily, a live-in nurse who comes to care for a reclusive horror author in a creaking old house. As Lily settles in, the boundaries between sleep and waking blur, and a haunting presence seems to inhabit the dwelling. Slow-burning, somber and surreal, the film probes grief, memory, and the fear of becoming what one fears. Its restrained atmosphere, whispered dialogue, and dreamlike imagery create a chilling sense of inevitability.
