Gravity is a 2013 science fiction thriller that follows Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, and veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky, who is commanding his last flight before retirement. During a routine spacewalk, disaster strikes, leaving their shuttle destroyed and Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left.
