Central Station is a Brazilian drama film that follows the story of Dora, a retired schoolteacher who writes letters for illiterate people at Rio de Janeiro's main train station. When a young boy, Josué, asks for her help to find his father, Dora reluctantly agrees to accompany him on a journey through the Brazilian countryside. Along the way, they form an unlikely bond and discover the true meaning of family and redemption.
