After being released from prison, Jake and Elwood Blues embark on a mission from God to save the Catholic orphanage where they grew up. Along the way, they reunite their band and face off against the police, a country band, and a mysterious woman. The film is a musical comedy filled with car chases, musical performances, and hilarious one-liners.
