Is Annabelle: Creation a real story?
"Annabelle: Creation" is a horror film that serves as a prequel to "Annabelle." While it is inspired by the real-life Annabelle doll, which is said to be haunted and is part of the Warrens' collection of paranormal artifacts, the events and characters in the movie are fictionalized for entertainment purposes. The film explores the origins of the doll and the supernatural occurrences surrounding it, but it does not depict actual events. The real Annabelle is a Raggedy Ann doll, not the porcelain doll shown in the movie.
Do I watch Annabelle or Annabelle: Creation first?
You should watch "Annabelle: Creation" first, as it is a prequel to the original "Annabelle." "Annabelle: Creation" provides the backstory of the doll and how it became haunted, while "Annabelle" follows the events that occur after the doll's origin. Watching them in this order will enhance your understanding of the storyline and character development.
Does the nun appear in Annabelle: Creation?
No, the nun does not appear in "Annabelle: Creation." The film focuses on the origin story of the Annabelle doll and is set in a different context within the Conjuring Universe. It primarily revolves around a dollmaker and his wife, who invite a group of orphaned girls into their home, where they encounter the malevolent spirit associated with Annabelle. The nun character, known from "The Nun" (2018), is not part of this storyline.
