Years before The Conjuring, a dollmaker and his wife take in a nun and several orphans after a tragedy. An innocent doll in their workshop becomes the focus of a malevolent spirit that possesses the girls and turns their home into a maze of whispers, shadows, and deadly danger. As the demon grows stronger, the family must confront the evil they have awakened, or be consumed by it and unknowingly seal the fate of Annabelle.
