Tate Taylor
Tate Taylor is an American filmmaker and actor, born on June 3, 1969, in Jackson, Mississippi. He gained prominence for directing 'The Help' (2011), which received multiple Academy Award nominations. Taylor is also known for 'Get on Up' (2014), a biopic of James Brown, and 'The Girl on the Train' (2016). Before directing, he worked in acting and had roles in TV and film. Taylor is recognized for his collaborations with actor and producer Octavia Spencer.
