An American film director and producer, she grew up in a creative family and pursued a career in the arts. She studied at Bennington College before moving into theater, co-founding the New York theater company Burn Manhattan. Transitioning to film, she directed "Fully Loaded" and the acclaimed "Welcome to Me," starring Kristen Wiig. Known for her quirky, character-driven storytelling, she continues to explore unique narratives in both film and television.
