Satoshi Kon

He began his career as a manga artist before transitioning to animation. His directorial debut, "Perfect Blue" (1997), garnered international acclaim. He continued to explore themes of identity and perception in films like "Millennium Actress," "Tokyo Godfathers," and "Paprika." His work remains influential, despite his untimely death in 2010.
