He is best known for directing the cult classic "Mannequin" (1987), a romantic comedy that became a box office success. His career also included directing films like "Mr. Nanny" (1993) and "A Kid in King Arthur's Court" (1995). Before his film career, he worked in advertising. He later transitioned to teaching, sharing his industry knowledge with students at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
