László Nemes
Born in Budapest in 1977, this Hungarian film director and screenwriter is renowned for his powerful storytelling and distinctive visual style. He gained international acclaim with his debut feature film, "Son of Saul" (2015), which won the Grand Prix at Cannes and the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
