Born in Syria in 2004, this actor gained international recognition for his role in the 2018 film "Capernaum," directed by Nadine Labaki. Fleeing the Syrian civil war, he moved to Lebanon, where he was cast in the film at age 12. His performance as a streetwise child living in poverty earned critical acclaim and the film won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. After the film's success, he relocated to Norway, where he continues to pursue acting and adapt to life in a new country.
