He gained fame for his role as Michael Scofield in the television series "Prison Break," which earned him a Golden Globe nomination. Beyond acting, he is also a screenwriter, known for "Stoker." An advocate for mental health and LGBTQ+ rights, he publicly came out as gay in 2013.
