Born on October 29, 1972, in Los Angeles, she is the daughter of legendary singer Diana Ross. She graduated from Brown University with a degree in theater arts and began her career in the fashion industry before transitioning to acting. She gained prominence with her role as Joan Clayton on the hit TV series "Girlfriends" from 2000 to 2008. Later, she starred in "Black-ish," earning critical acclaim and multiple award nominations.
