Born in Périgueux, France, in 1903, she was a prominent French actress known for her role in the surrealist classic "Un Chien Andalou" (1929), directed by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí. Her career spanned the late 1920s and early 1930s, during which she appeared in a number of French films. Beyond her work in cinema, she lived a relatively private life.
