Raymond Massey
Canadian-born actor, born in 1896, gained recognition for his commanding presence and distinctive voice. Initially serving in World War I, he turned to acting in the 1920s. Gained fame for his portrayal of historical figures, notably Abraham Lincoln in "Abe Lincoln in Illinois" and John Brown in "Santa Fe Trail." Massey appeared in numerous films, stage productions, and television shows over his career. Known for his versatility, he was a respected figure in both Hollywood and Broadway until his death in 1983.
