Born on July 20, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York, he pursued a passion for acting and music from a young age. After studying at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, he gained recognition for his role in the film "Juice" (1992). He continued to build his career with performances in "Higher Learning" (1995), "The Wood" (1999), and "Love & Basketball" (2000).
