Born November 16, 1972, in Houston, Texas, she grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. She attended the North Carolina School of the Arts, where she honed her acting skills. Launching her career in the late 1990s, she gained recognition for roles in films like "Galaxy Quest" and "Big Fish." Known for her comedic timing, she has also appeared in "Dodgeball" and "The Artist." Aside from film, she has guest-starred on numerous TV shows and is part of a country music duo, Smith & Pyle.
