Born on July 30, 1963, in Los Angeles, she started her career in comedy with the improv troupe The Groundlings. Gaining fame as Phoebe Buffay on the hit TV show "Friends," she won an Emmy Award for her role. Her film credits include "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion," "Analyze This," and "The Opposite of Sex." Known for her comedic timing and quirky characters, she also produced and starred in "The Comeback" and "Web Therapy." She holds a degree in biology from Vassar College.
