An English actor and musician, he gained recognition for his comedic role as Barrington Womble ("Barry Wom") in the 1978 television film "The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash." As a drummer, his career includes performing with several bands, most notably Timebox and Patto. Though his acting appearances have been limited, his portrayal in the mockumentary about a fictional Beatles-like band remains a cult favorite.
