Dorris Bowdon
Born in 1914 in Coldwater, Mississippi, she was an American actress best known for her work in the late 1930s and early 1940s. She gained recognition for her role in "The Grapes of Wrath" (1940), where she played Rosasharn, showcasing her talent in portraying complex characters. Her career was closely linked to producer Nunnally Johnson, whom she married in 1939. After a brief but memorable career in Hollywood, she stepped away from acting to focus on family life. She passed away in 2005.
